PROMPT: Describe local landmark(s). Meylark's Spine: An ancient and forbidden mountain range to the north of Kal-Dor. It is a dangerous place full of fantastic creatures and is said to actually be the spine of the largest dragon to ever live, Meylark. It is said that Meylark used to rule the surrounding lands in the distant past with an iron claw until a powerful wizard named Yu Fei from the east came and slayed the dragon, turning his bones into the mountains until one day when the curse will be broken and Meylark will rule again. It is said that the only way to break the curse is to recite and ancient rite in a cave where Meylark's heart once was. The mountains are fraught with dangers and fell creatures and also hosts a few different entrances to the Underdark. Cults often worship the mountains and their evil nature.      Twenty years ago, a human by the name of Adwith Gorren was a young boy of seven years old. His village came under the rule of an evil land barron named Fenn Talmick who controlled the small settlement of Haetum. One day, a group of four adventurers came to town Fenn saw a big payday in this group and set off to bilk them out of their recently acquired riches.      The group tried not to get involved in the local politics but after Fenn set his sights on obtaining their treasure, they saw exactly how Fenn was treating the citizens of Haetum and decided to help the townsfolk out. Fenn sent his personal guards after the adventurers and ordered them to take them out at all costs. One of those guards happened to be the father of young Adwith Gorren. 5 Taverns in Kal-Dor The Brown Dove: Owned by Breonna Malkiner, a middle aged human woman. They aren't only known for their spirits but also for their food, employing Breonna's ex-husband Eppin, a half-elf. The walls are adorned with elaborate works of art featuring birds and their speciality is a personal pie made from minced pigeon meat, freshly caught that morning. To keep costs down and stock up, Breonna and Eppin also run a bird farm on the outskirts of Kal-Dor in a hamlet called Sheep's Eye. The Flatmoore Inn: Owned by Glamroy Welkshim, an old gnome who used to be a jeweler until an accident during a robbery left his right arm paralyzed. Glamroy bought the inn from a human by the name of Haemish Hullund, who was getting out of the business. The Black Market in Kal-Dor... Mekham Gründeraxe:  An elderly dwarf that sells armor from his forge as well as from around the world. He has very light blue eyes and still has long brown hair that he wears in two separate braids but has a very long beard in a braid that's showing its age and is graying. He doesn't deal with magical items as a rule but isn't above offering trades to get something into his "personal collection." While he will part with items in his personal collection for the right trade, he will not accept a cash payment for them. He is very brash and outspoken.
